In memory of

Hollis Crawford

1945 - 2026

In loving memory of Hollis Crawford September 28th, 1945 - June 30th, 2026

“The road was his home, and now the stars are his guide.”

Hollis was truly one of a kind. He devoted his life to his family and took great pride in his work. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he never missed an opportunity to share one of the many stories from his decades behind the wheel. His strength, generosity, and unmatched work ethic will forever be remembered.

He will be deeply missed by his children, Brad (Tina), Brian (Lysa), Bobby (Caroline), Heidi (Eddie), Becky (Sebastien), and Julie (Chad), and his cherished friend Barb; his 15 cherished grandchildren; 9 treasured great-grandchildren; and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Hollis was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret, and his daughter, Bonnie.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Manoir de Stanstead and the Palliative Care Unit at Magog Hospital for the compassionate care, kindness, and support they provided to Hollis.

A ceremony attended by the family and featuring the ashes will take place at Crystal Lake Cemetery on September 12th at 13:00.

I am so thankful I was able to reminisce and visit with him a few weeks ago while he was still at the manoir. We may have been co-workers for years but we have been friends forever. My deepest sympathies to Hollis’ family. I have so many good memories of going to Barb and Hollis’ house to have play dates with Heidi, Becky and Julie. I wonder how much Hollis really enjoyed watching us 5 girls putting on dance parties for him, Barb and my mom haha he sat there like a trooper many many times haha Thinking of you all!

I had to pleasure of spending a couple weeks with Hollis when he came in to visit his daughter Julie Temm (My Wife) and he was just amazing. Incredible stories, prideful and humble man. He was so loving to everyone around him. My parents got to meet him and it was just a thrill. He will be truly missed. Godspeed Hollis. A father in law I wish had more time with.

Dear Brian, I was so sad to hear about your father’s passing. Please know that you, Lysa the children, and your whole family are in my thoughts during this difficult time. Losing a father leaves such a deep void, and no words can truly ease that loss. I hope you can find some comfort in the love of family and in the many memories you shared with him.
