It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannie, who died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Gary Goddard and dear friend of Trevor Wilson. She was the daughter of the late Stewart Astbury and the late Madeline Walker.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
Jeannie leaves to mourn her daughter Suzanne (Tracy), her granddaughters Emilie (Maxime) and Sabrina (Eloise) and her cherished great-grandchildren Elisabeth, Brandon, Viktor and Everly. She was predeceased by her brother Jack (Dina).
She will be fondly remembered by her in-laws Dee (late Paul) and Theodore (Robin). She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Norman (Gloria). She also leaves many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff of Maison Aube Lumière for the exceptional care Jeannie received.
